An impressive 86% of students achieved at least 5 or more higher grades A*-C, the best set of results ever and continuing a three year trend of improvement. There was also significant improvement in the results for the key subjects of English and mathematics at A*-C grades.
Nearly a third of Catmose students achieved at least 3 A*/A grades which will give them a great start to their post-16 studies.
Stuart Williams, Principal said ‘Our students have achieved a fantastic set of results; they are the result of a considerable amount hard work, staff commitment and the support of their parents. This is a great way to celebrate the last year of results in our old buildings and is a great benchmark to improve on with the additional resources our new build will bring’.

We are now at the end of our first full college year on Radiowaves and what a successful year this has been. As well as being part of the Rutland Network, we are now part of the Champion Schools Network and we have also taken part in two BBC News Days.
We have also received two awards for our station and one top reporter in Rutland. It is all down to the enthusiasm of our fantastic reporters and the work that they do in class and during the electives. So a big thank you from me to everyone who has contributed, including students and staff.
In September, we will be starting a Media Tech team who will take a lead in undertaking duties in and around college. If you want any more information, please contact Ms Smith or Mr Stone.
Also, please feel free to upload any reports or blogs on what you get up to in the holidays.
